The Albany Symphony offers a wide variety of opportunities to engage volunteers from Albany and its surrounding communities. The Albany Symphony Association’s “Friends of the Symphony” is a group of men and women who help raise money to support the Orchestra, contribute to our education programs for children and help to build new audiences for classical music. Our “Friends” spend time volunteering at our Link Up concert, help with fundraising events, and also attend social activities throughout the season.
Membership is free and your level of participation is entirely up to you. If you would like to support the performing arts through volunteer service, we would like to partner with you. Your participation helps us fulfill our mission to bring quality symphony musical to Southwest Georgia.
